Sechelt Downtown Business Association
Marketing Plan & Branding Strategy

The Sechelt Downtown Business Association (SDBA) is the representing body for the majority of businesses in the downtown area of Sechelt, BC. 

This project came as a result of a referral from the management of Trail Bay Centre, and we were tasked with creating a new brand and comprehensive marketing strategy, which included;
  • a new custom logo and tagline, created with input from the SDBA Marketing Committee,
  • a complete Marketing Plan and Strategy, presented to the SDBA in personalized, hard-cover book format, 
  • presentation of the key components of the plan to the SDBA President and 50+ business directors and members at the 2013 Annual General Meeting,

A number of recommendations we made in the Marketing Plan have since been completed.
  • a collection of street banners - a Winter/Holiday series and a Spring/Summer series - were implemented to unify the downtown core,
  • A number of small events were discontinued and two larger annual events were added to the SDBA calendar - an art-focused event in the spring and an Oktoberfest celebration in the fall.
